It's nice that the US tax season closes a couple of weeks before ours, as it provides a good reminder to get your ass in gear and do your #taxes.

It's also nice that we don't have some inept billionaire and his underlings firing #CRA staff and raiding its databases.

Also nice we don't have a fascist government ignoring the courts and human rights and disappearing people to third world concentration camps.

Wow, that got dark pretty fast.

Germany does not want to tax big tech. Every time France comes up with a bold vision for Europe, it’s the Germans who complain again.

It’s like that guy you know who always needs to be against something, just on principle.

I find this whole argument convoluted. What do they think will Big Tech do if they get taxed? Kill the entire EU business and rather have no profits instead of less?

What makes Ferguson's position on the state's budget crunch so alarming is that the Democratic party in the state legislature has been whipping votes and checking in with voters about introducing progressive taxation solutions. The state dems, seem to fear cutting services more than raising taxes.

In stark contrast to the dem governor Ferguson says he'll only Ok regressive taxes, and won't tax billionaire or millionaire income!
