@rooftopjaxx that true now where is the #KISS solidarity that they actorly use it... they are not very good with #openweb tech. On this path they take the conservative (and powerless) #fashionista options, sadly. it's a limitation of left #mainstreaming, not a bad thing, just a issue.

They then move to protect the border... then pushes the internal border to exclude people internally who he wants on the outside. Then the celebrating the backing of the old world order, and the dismantling of its structurers and norms. Then back to me, a recurring path. He is removing the last 20 years of #fashionista paths, but only to go back to a mythical past, nothing progressive. This is a #KISS populist move, for a reactionary outcome. The words "common sense" comes into play, the mix of the language of left and right. The frustration of navigating the mess of activism, tech, and grassroots movements, especially when they get co-opted and sidetracked by personal interests, #NGO agendas, or broader #mainstreaming mess. We need ways to process, compost, and turn this mess into a more productive path, one which balances burnout and disillusionment.
A part of this is the parasite #NGO and #fashionista paths, how NGOs and certain tech movements can parasitically latch onto grassroots movements, commodifying and diverting them from there original path. These no native way end up taking the paths they claim to oppose, and is a part of the broader #deathcult problem.
Mediating this deathcult and pratish behaviour is the path to challenge the individualistic, egotistical people who are always a part of grassroots movements. If left unchecked these people will derail collective efforts and reduce movements to infighting rather than the path of real change and challenge we need to take.
Composting the mess, is perhaps the most hopeful metaphor to turn this #mainstreaming shit into something more fertile. This metaphor is about processing what went wrong, reflecting, and turning that energy into a better path, sustainable, and rooted in the core values of the #openweb and 4#opens grassroots efforts.
The mess is undeniable, but with native openweb tools and paths, composting, mediation, linking, and decentralization there’s still hope to turn this #reboot into something productive that we so desperately need.
