I don't really have anything going on this afternoon but being too caffeinated and listening to newish #Americana music to be hip with the kids, so of course I'm just regularly going to my window and watching some smoke billow out in what when I was younger I often referred to as the anus of the Roanoke Valley (Salem, Virginia).

It is concerning though, conditions here are DRY and WINDY, terrible time for fires.

Just found out that there's a #horror and #scifi convention in late April here in #Roanoke

I've never seen such a thing come into town behind some horror stuff at our regular comic book conventions, I'm definitely going to try and go to that, that seems like a whole lot of fun.

Selfie, Eye Contact

Despite probably their wishes, I tend to take a selfie almost every day during my daily walks to document my ability to convince myself to the leave the house for my groupchat of friends. I already took one today, but figured I'd take this one since it is so rare that I ever leave the house at night time (it isn't exactly the safest neighborhood in #Roanoke )

The weather in #Roanoke today is absolutely beautiful, blue skies and temps approaching the mid-60s in February. When I was in the suburbs this weekend I basically got zero exercise cause that neighborhood is terrible to walk in (I should know, I grew up there) so definitely gonna make myself walk as much as I can today, having already spent over an hour running errands outside today

After it hit the 80s yesterday, this morning begins a big cooldown in #Roanoke with tempts dropping to a high in the low 60s (mid 50s the next couple days) and sustained winds in the mid-to-high teens all day making it feel colder than it is.

My depressive tendencies are bracing themselves and I am gonna make even more of an effort than I already have been using the tools I got to try and keep them managed.
