Mal sehen, was passiert. Für diese spezielle Gruppe ist es auf jeden Fall ein Experiment.
Boah, das war heute eine intensive #Bogenschießen Session. Weil ich weiß, dass ich zwei Wochen nicht mehr zum Training kommen kann, habe ich in 1,5 Stunden versucht, den Compoundbogen grob für 20, 30, 40 und 50 Meter einzustellen und auch noch ein paar Tests mit dem neuen Langbogen gemacht, um zu sehen, ob ich ihn behalten will. Later Unearthed Arcana for #DnD5E morphed that into a Sorceror subclass, but it was never included as part of the official rules, that I recall (am I wrong?).
And it works really well as a Sorceror or Warlock, too, whose source of magic just happens to be divine or celestial in nature, rather than fiendish, draconic, fey, or wild.
Anyway, one of the things that I think should have been retained in #DnD5E is the idea of the "Favored Soul" class, which originated in 3E or 3.5E (i can't remember, since I really only played those via Neverwinter Nights/NWN2). The Favored Soul was originally a fighter who was a devotée of a deity that is "not quite a Paladin", and was intended to be the divine magic counterpart to the Eldritch Knight.
