I had to move kcminputrc from .config and it works just fine
BTW, #ArchLinux is now (finally) powered by #Linux kernel 6.14
In the wee small hours i decided to give #GnomeBoxes another chance as a possible alternative. Chose to install via #flatpak, coz my Host is
#ArchLinux #KDEPlasma & i did not wish to risk possible gnome vs plasma file conflicts.
It did a fine job of installing an #ArchLinux VM [which i completed using the latest #ArchInstall v3.0.3], so then in an act of gross stupidity i ridiculously chose to see if it could handle a win10 VM via a 3-yr old ISO i have lying around. As i abandoned windoze "for real" in 2014, i had forgotten the many hours of time-wasting bullshit involved, at the end of which instead of getting something decent, you just get... windoze, ugh.
Anyway, so far it seems that GnomeBoxes is going ok, which makes a nice change as all prior tests of older versions failed to work properly. Doubt though atm that it'll persuade me to give up on #qemu / #kvm / #libvirt / #VirtManager. GB has no facility to Suspend VMs, so they need to be fully shutdown, which is a drag. Also, the FP version does not support USB transfer, which is a bugger, & so far i've not made #SharedFolders work [but think i know why].
I would bet good money, Arch Linux, based in Canada, will be the 1st Linux distro to give deep into the non-free world, if American copyrights go out the window.
I am so going to look forward to that.

Has anyone ever successfully configured Telegram Desktop's location sharing feature on my Arch Linux system running KDE? I've been trying to enable this feature for a while now, but I keep running into a lot of crashes. If anyone has managed to set it up correctly, could you please share your detailed steps and any troubleshooting tips or workarounds you discovered along the way? I'm particularly interested in any configuration changes or additional packages that you had to install to get it working.
I use Arch, by the way. ™
I joke, but it has been a while since I have used and installed vanilla, Arch Linux.

" Can you run CachyOS on a v2 CPU ? "
Yes. I am indeed running CachyOS on a Dell Precision T3610, which has an Intel Xeon E5-2673 v2 CPUShould I wipe and reinstall my arch system?
**so been using arch for the past few days...
couple things I like and don't like... **
boot times are nuts, like way faster than any other os I've fun on this particular laptop (t480s)
latest gnome, latest kernel and maybe updates are too often? I know there is a testing phase but I've heard horror stories of arch breaking.....might just be a user thing
I already run majority of my apps as flatpaks, so system is light and quick
battery life seems slightly improved, likely due to less resources and background processes
I don't do much gaming, theming, tweaks, no custom kernels, no extra fonts, none of that for me, so I am interested on the longevity and stability going forward. So far I am impressed. Using ext4 so backups should be pretty basic.

I have to _blame_ @willmcgugan for rediscovering the power of the terminal.
His amazing work with #Rich and #Textual for got me to realize how much has happened since GUI and mouse took over the world.
This year it all begins to come together to form a good base with #ArchLinux #Ghostty
#Starship
#Tmux and #Neovim
to really get going with.
Das #iso-Image von #ArchLinux, welches zu Fehlern führte, stammte aus dem Dezember. Also ein aktuelles geladen.

Any #archlinux users can possibly help me out?
lspci shows
`Intel Corporation Wireless 8265 / 8275 (rev 78)`
and my wifi is working fine, maybe a kernel bug?
bluetoothctl runs but never connects to anything.
I installed bluez as suggested in the wiki but nada happens
BT won't turn on in the gnome settings either
I do see the kernel module loaded `btmtk 32768 1 btusb`
any help would be appreciated.
