Good day!

It’s supposed to soar to 67F (19C) today, but I’ll walk when it’s still barely over freezing. It’ll return closer to normal tomorrow.

At least, it’s supposed to.

Later, I’ll publish another blog post in my self-editing series & (what a coincidence) edit another chapter.

Good morning!

Theo and I are doing fine together, and this morning he agreed to pose for a photo. He settled down last night enough to sit on my lap for an hour or so while I read, and curled up by my feet when I went to bed.

Unfortunately, he woke up every couple of hours and I think he didn't know where he was in the dark, so he started crying. This woke me up, and I had to pet him until he could go back to sleep. I doubt that will continue -- if it does, no midnight pets for him!

I have my ADHD assessment later this morning, so the plan is to finish my coffee, squeeze a short walk in & then get ready for the assessment.

Went to the local creative club #today !
Always a blast. I got to talk about how close I am to having a real book.

Afterwards, a young fellow came up to me and asked for advice on writing. He wants to share his life experiences with autism.

I really hope I gave him some encouraging words to get started. I would love for him to share his story. I was just so flabbergasted that anyone would ask me of all people for advice on writing. Sure I have a book, but am I a writer? 😅
