My final Canadian 🇨🇦 province is my home along with its symbols, the common and trillium. The block was inked 'à la poupée' (with different colours, black, green and yellow, in different areas) and printed by hand on lovely Japanese kozo (or mulberry) paper.

Ontario is where I was born and where I now call home. Growing up on Lake Ontario I was always aware of our region being defined by the Great Lakes, 🧵1/2

As described my final Canadian province linocut is in the shape of my home province Ontario with the outline of the Great Lakes along with its symbols, the common loon and trillium. so I've included them all in this print, though they extend beyond the boundaries of the province. The haunting call of the loon is a strong memory of childhood summers. Finding the vulnerable triliums in the forest always seemed quite magical. These symbols of Ontario represent my home.
