What’s your #1 go-to button in the panel, and what comes in second? 🤔

@Vivaldi
The only two I haven't removed are downloads and reading list. Of which I use the downloads panel more.

@Vivaldi pinned YT Music web-panel and @phanpy client :catletitbe:

@Vivaldi it is actually something I rarely use. Downloads is the most likely to be open because it opens when I download something. I have separate email, Mastodon accounts etc so never use these.

@Vivaldi Mail, pinned Bluesky, Deezer

@Vivaldi I have a newsticker on periodic reload most of the time. I think downloads pops up second. I rarely use anything else. Maybe notes, mail and history occasionally.

@Vivaldi Mail, Tasks, Calendar, Notes, Settings and some pinned web links.

💡How about a side panel for pinning Start Page widgets vertically? Then we could use them productively as we browse.

@Vivaldi

I use most of them, history is really useful, email/rss/calendar is great but I mostly use them in Fullscreen mode, notes are essential, and saved sessions is something I want to start using more.

But I usually want most of my screen to be whatever website I'm on at that moment.

And I won't count downloads, as it auto opens.

Feature request to be able to turn off "download finished" notifications

@Vivaldi
I hide the panel for a more distraction free workspace. The only situation to open it is to check the progress of larger downloads.

@Vivaldi Mail!
I have also configured some custom buttons with command chains to open specific sites, thus abusing the panel as a bookmark bar. You should allow placing bookmarks on the panel!

@Vivaldi #1 is DeepL Translate
#2 is Vivaldi Forum

@Vivaldi I added Wiktionary to my side panel. After that, the panel I open the most is the calendar.
